Asano Kajiya X Dahae Song Gyuto
We are honoured to showcase a collaborative piece by Dahae Song and Asano Kajiya.
Dahae Song, a South Korean, Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist teamed up with Tosho Knife Arts, Asano Kajiya, and Ashley McKenzie-Barnes to produce this piece.
Tosho Knife Arts was blessed to get a call to come together with a knife design with them. Dahae's blacksmith of choice, was Asano Kajiya from Gifu Prefecture, Japan, who's aesthetics align with Dahae's raw and natural style. For this design, she used her iconic black and white hands and paint brushstrokes.
