The mirror-polished blade features a symmetrically convexed zero-grind, referred to as “Honzukuri”. This provides both a robust and fine edge, suitable for most daily cutting tasks. The polished YXR-7 blade is hardened to an astounding 65.2 HRC to stay razor sharp for years. The diamond-like coating (DLC) on the blade is as hard as it is thin, protecting the carbon steel from the elements.

This neck knife comes with a traditional etched wave pattern. Rockstead CHOU models also come with a custom Kydex Sheath, for a versatile and slim carry.

Rockstead knives can be registered online to access their lifetime warranty, and free sharpening programs. Rockstead suggests using their sharpening program exclusively.
