It doesn't end there for the SHU. The handle is machined in a faux-integral design, bypassing visible handle, and pivot hardware. A chrysanthemum flower motif is laser engraved into the handle, which is then DLC coated for protection from wear. Seamlessly integrated into the show side handle is the button-lock mechanism. This provides the SHU a smooth, hydraulic deployment action, and a rock-solid lockup.
