Rockstead HIGO II X-CF-ZDP Folding Knife 90mm Titanium Handle (SG)
Since its inception over 70 years ago, Rockstead Knives have been producing unique and extremely high performing fixed and folding knives. Rockstead specializes in unorthodox manual machining practices and modern materials to output knives that create a league of their own.
The Higo X is the flagship Higo model. The 3.5” mirror-polished blade features a symmetrically convexed zero-grind, referred to as “Honzukuri”. This provides both a robust and fine edge, suitable for most daily cutting tasks. The polished ZDP-189 blade is hardened to an astounding ~66 HRC to stay razor sharp for years. The blade features double thumb studs for quick, ambidextrous deployment.
The handle is an elegant pairing to the blade. Inset stainless steel liners are machined to work as a liner lock, a rare mechanism for Rockstead. For enhanced ergonomics and visual intrigue, marbled carbon fiber scales are installed over titanium handles, anodized with a silver-gold fade.
The HIGO is one of few Rockstead models where disassembly does not void the warranty, as made clear by the included wrench, and visible hardware. It is encouraged to put this knife to use, whether that be processing boxes, or breaking down large game, the HIGO X is the right knife to do so in style.
Rockstead knives can be registered online to access their lifetime warranty, and free sharpening programs. Rockstead suggests using their sharpening program exclusively. Disassembly does not void the warranty of HIGO models, but we advise you to exercise caution.
